First off, this is a very capable truck! Definitely worthy of a buy. That said, if you are serious about getting into RC cars, some notes: - Comes with loads of spare bits - Remote feels a little cheap, but has good feel, all the trim adjustments you need - Parts are not as easily sourced as say, a TRAXXAS product. Some name brand bits do fit though! - Tires, shocks, and linkage are begging for upgrades. - My wheel nuts kept spinning off, bought better ones - Batteries are great, they last forever. - Shocks arrive dry - buy oil for them before use and the car will handle way better. 30w is a good start, don't go heavier IMO - Progressive rally springs are also a great upgrade - Tires and stock suspension are too bouncy for high speed dirt tracks - good for climbing/crawling though - Linkages are altogether too soft and ply-able. This is GREAT if your kid is using it and crashing a lot, as it saves the inner components, but too ambiguous for serious driving. I got TRAXXAS turnbuckle arms that fit. You have to be very resourceful when ordering parts, as some parts are 1/10, some are 1/16 etc... like the servo is very hard to find an upgrade for But in sum, an awesome buy that can hang with $300 cars, and provides loads of fun! Great way to get into mid-tier RC car racing and fun.
