It's a decent little car, it is pretty zippy on a fresh battery on a flat surface. The remote control is styled like a hobby controller, but the 'wheel' is just a left/right switch, not a fine steering adjustment, and the trigger is just forward/reverse. A 7-10y/o will have fun with it. Speed/power begin to suffer about halfway through the ~30m battery life, at which point grass/rough terrain becomes very difficult. I paid just over $30, which seems fair. I wouldn't go much higher than that though.

I got this for my corgi dog to chase around and he loves it. It's quick enough to give him a challenge and it's fun to drive. It also seems to have good range and can reach at least 100 yards. The only downside is that most parts are made of plastic and will eventually break. I've been able to replace most of the parts by purchasing online, but this has almost doubled the purchase price of this product.
