I haven't seen many products of this sort, and I have to say, it's very fun. It's very satisfying to alternate between modes of remote control that don't seem as though they should go together. And this plane has three modes like that. Wow.

Decent plane, would work well for kids. Tiny little props, not a ton of power, but still flies. A few replacement parts in the box, and replacement props -- but they should be mostly ok because the props are a bit protected, not easy to ground strike with them. Steering is all proportional (one prop slows down when you turn) and it's slow as expected, but works.

This is made of the same styrofoam that it comes packed in, so it's VERY lightweight and not super durable. It's also not real easy to control so it takes practice. The challenge is in learning to fly it before you wreck it. It does help to fly it over water, because it's a softer landing spot. For those used to flying easy-to-fly drones, this will prove more difficult. For those wanting a unique RC challenge, it's a great find.
